Positive: The location was great, but you need to let folks know that the free parking is only available if there is not a concert.
Negative: I felt a bit unsafe in the parking lot. The bathroom was only moderately clean. Magic eraser on the floor of the shower would go a long way. It was grungy.
Summary: The staff is incredibly lovely, the beds are comfortable, the location is great, but bathrooms are kind of gross

Positive: It is next door to the Pagent (And Delmar Hall) which makes it very convenient for events.
Negative: Where do I start? Check in was a joke. One poor human at the desk with 3 in front of me and 3 behind. Someone showed up, I thought she was there to help him. No. She told us it was Happy Hour! Really? I had already been standing there for at least 15min. What was there to be happy about? Parking here is less than inconvenient. I even called the day before to confirm. Don’t bother to waste your breath. The room was nothing special.. except for the bathroom. The shower was special, for sure. It was the size of a shower you would have in an old basement bathroom. So that makes the door even smaller. The rest of the bathroom? Huge. Who designed this?!? Next…. I had all of my valuables in the ‘safe’ when I was at the venue. I came back and couldn’t get back in the safe. I thought it was maybe me. I tried several times. I only ever use 2 combinations in these stupid things. Nope. So I call downstairs. Oh, the maintenance man is gone. Sorry! So nobody is on call? Nope! This was BEFORE midnight, so when the ‘actual’ maintenance man came he said he had someone here ‘till 12. Sooooo I was just blown off. Nice. At checkout? No manager to talk to at 0900. Needless to say, I will never stay here again. If you do, good luck to you. They don’t believe in customer service here.
